14 hours down and 7 hours to go before the Apple iPhone shows up. Continuing to report live from the sidewalk next to the Apple Store in Palo Alto!

The Apple Store is now open but no iPhones yet. The wait continues. More encounters with the authorities as they ask for permits from the news crew. And some young people (few weeks or months old in this case) are also in line for the Apple iPhone. Food seems to have appeared as well and computers continue to get recharged and ready for the big arrival.

i´m trying to learn the touch and feeling of your new slot-machine. i can´t imagine typing on that touchpad-display, do you have all letters and type with one finger, do you use both hands/ all fingers????? i recently had a nokia 16:9 handheld computer and wondered if it could be a video-streaming client, a nice display to watch football.
